The capital club continues to assemble its team ahead of the new Super League season FAVBET
Kyiv-Basket announced the extension of cooperation with the defender Nikita KogutThe 21-year-old player will remain with the capital club for another season.
Nikita joined the capital club last summer, moving from BC Khmelnitsky. In the 2023/24 season, the young guard took part in 31 matches, spent an average of less than 10 minutes on the court, scoring 3.5 points and making 1.7 rebounds per game.
Kogut is a current player of the Ukrainian U-23 national 3×3 basketball team, where his teammate is his Kyiv Basket colleague, the best young player of the season in the FAVBET Super League.
Earlier, Kyiv-Basket announced the return of center Artem Sandul. The Kyiv team also signed Ukrainian U-21 3×3 national team player Yaroslav Karpyuk, former Prometey leader Denys Klevzunik and 19-year-old Ukrainian forward Artem Smityukh.
In the last season of the Super League, Kyiv-Basket took third place in the regular championship and reached the semi-finals of the playoffs. In the fights for bronze medals, the Kyivans beat Cherkassy Mavpy.
The format of the 2024/25 Super League season was recently approved. Nine teams will play four rounds in a “bubble” format. Then the playoffs are planned.
The Super League title sponsor will once again be FAVBET. The technical sponsor of the championship will be Spalding.
