American point guard for CSKA Moscow Casper Articles talked about common games DeMar DeRozan Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James in the Drew League.
This summer, CSKA signed 34-year-old point guard Ware to a new two-year deal.
— What’s it like playing with DeMar, LeBron and the others? Do you feel a difference in level compared to what you’re used to?
— Yeah, the difference is really noticeable (smiles). Even in the way guys behave before, after or during the game. These guys don’t panic. They take their place on the court and do what needs to be done. And despite everything, the team improves with them. LeBron told me when he arrived: “Listen, don’t worry about me, I’ll get mine. Just play your game.”
It was pretty cool to hear that from him. I still talk to Demar to this day. He’s 35, LeBron’s even older. And to see them continue to be at a high level at that age, it’s pretty cool. So I try to learn things like that from them,” Ware told Championship.
