BIPA officially withdrew from the FAVBET Super League due to financial difficulties

At the same time, the club asks to reserve the right to apply for next season.

BEEP sent an official letter to Basketball Federation of Ukraine that due to lack of funding the club is forced to withdraw from the basketball tournament FAVBET Super Leagues 2024/25.

At the same time, it is reported that the club asks to reserve the right to apply for the next season of the elite division. Also in its appeal, the club asks to provide the right to register the club’s teams as participants in the Higher and First Leagues for the 2024/25 season.

At the end of the 2023/24 season, BIPA took 9th place in the regular championship and did not qualify for the playoffs.

The FAVBET Basketball Super League 2024/25 starts on October 2. 12 matches will be played during the first game week. It was previously planned that 9 clubs (including BIPA) would participate in the 2024/25 season. In the first stage, the teams will play four rounds in the “bubble” format. Then the playoffs are planned.

Let us recall that last season Dnipro won the Super League, beating BC Rivne in the final. The Dnipro team won the golden double, having previously won the Ukrainian Cup.
