Olympic bronze medalist, European basketball champion Sergei Monia told he was happy to be re-elected Andrei Kirilenko as President of the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF).
On Friday, Kirilenko, 43, was re-elected as RFB chairman for a new four-year term.
“I fully support Kirilenko and I am glad that such a person remains at the head of our basketball federation. He tries to develop basketball, opens grounds and devotes a lot of time to the development of children’s basketball. So I am glad that he was re-elected for a new term,” Monya told .
Kirilenko has been leading the federation since August 2015.
