Kyiv-Basket beat Cherkassky Monkeys in a match of the pre-season charity tournament in Ivano-Frankivsk – 75:65. The Kyivians became the early winners of the competition, dedicated to Defenders of Ukraine Day.
The first quarter was an even struggle. The Kievans managed to break ahead in the second ten minutes. The Monkeys made a breakthrough after the break, equalizing the score, but the last quarter was again in Kyiv-Basket’s favor.
The most productive player for Kiev was Yegor Sushkin, who scored 14 points. Lev Koshevatsky distinguished himself for Mavp, scoring 17 points.
Let us recall that in the first match of the charity tournament Kyiv-Basket beat Prykarpattya-Goverla. Dmitry Zabirchenko’s team won the competition ahead of schedule.
In the final match of the tournament, Cherkasski Monkeys will play against Prykarpattya-Goverla. The match will take place on Sunday, September 22, starting at 14:00.
