The Ukrainian will spend his fourth season with the Sacramento Kings
Ukrainian center Sacramento Kings Alexey Len spoke about preparations for the upcoming season NBA 2024/25.
“Every year I have different expectations for training camp, but there are things that happen every year. You need to concentrate on the details, you need to learn to improve your endurance.”
“We are disappointed with our performance last season. Now we have several new players and we are looking forward to successful performances.”
“The coaching staff requires us to play fast basketball, which I feel good about. The team has young centers, they work great. I give them advice and help them in any way I can.”
“The 12th season in the NBA? This is crazy. But I feel like I’ve only been playing in the league for four or five years.”
Len made 26 appearances in the NBA during the 2022-23 season. The center averaged 1.7 points and 2.3 rebounds. Just over half of the Ukrainian’s field goals were accurate (53.3%).
Alexey also spent the previous season in the Kings camp. The player appeared on the court 50 times, averaging 9.2 minutes per game, scoring 2.4 points, making 2.6 rebounds and averaging one assist per game.
The upcoming season will be the Ukrainian player’s 12th in the National Basketball Association and the fourth in a row as part of his current team. The center received a one-year contract worth $3.3 million from the Kings.
Sacramento finished ninth in the Western Conference in the 2023-24 regular season before losing to New Orleans in the play-in final.
The 2024-25 NBA regular season will begin on October 22 and end on April 13, 2025. The play-in tournament will take place from April 15 to 18.
