US Elite Student League starts on November 4
Defender of the Ukrainian youth basketball team Arseny Kolobov added to the roster for the new season Rhode Island Rams. The varsity team competes in Division I NCAA.
Kolobov played in the Ukrainian U-18 national team at the EuroBasket 2024. The guard played in all eight games and averaged 7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 25.2 minutes.
In the NCAA, preliminary rosters include Maxim Shulga (VCU Rams), Pavel Dzyuba (Eastern Washington Eagles), Mikhail Bednostin (Lafayette Leopards) and Nikita Konstantinovsky (Notre Dame Fighting Irish). Also, Alexander Kobzisty, who is preparing to play for the Oregon Ducks, can play in the elite division of the American Student League.
Rhode Island finished last in the Atlantic 10 Conference last season. Kolobov’s team starts the new season on November 4 against Fairfield.
