Basketball player Arseny Kolobov will play for the university team from the NCAA next season.
There will be another Ukrainian player in the American NCAA basketball league. As reported by FBU, the defender of the youth national team of Ukraine (U-18) Arseniy Kolobov will play for the university team of the Rhode Island Rams next season.
We remind you that Kolobov played for the Ukrainian U-18 national team at the 2024 European Championship, Division B in North Macedonia, where the “blue-yellows” finished 13th. In the tournament, he averaged 7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in 25.2 minutes on the court.
It should be noted that this season, six more Ukrainian players were announced in the US student league – Maxim Shulga (VCU Rams), Pavel Dzyuba (Eastern Washington Eagles), Mikhail Bednostin (Lafayette Leopards), Nikita Konstantinovsky (Notre Dame Fighting Irish ), Alexander Kobzist Ducks ) and Ekaterina Koval (Notre Dame).
