Basketball player from Moscow CSKA Nikita Kurbanov became the first player to play 400 matches in the VTB United League, reports press service tournament.
On Sunday, 38-year-old Kurbanov played in the regular season match against Zenit St. Petersburg (83:77). The forward spent a little over 20 minutes on the court, scored two points, had two rebounds and provided an assist.
Kurbanov has been playing in the United League since its inception. Previously, he played for Spartak Saint Petersburg, UNICS Kazan and Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar.
As part of CSKA, Kurbanov became eight-time United League champion and three-time Euroleague winner.
