Under his leadership, the team won the main Super League trophy for the 2023/24 season.
Alexey Golyakhov was appointed head coach of Dynamo. At the same time, Sandler will remain president of the club.
“The decision was motivated by an awareness of the development processes of all our professional football, volleyball and basketball teams, in whose work I play a leadership role.
I am aware that coaching requires maximum involvement and time. At certain stages, I saw that this combination was possible, that there was space and time to implement such an approach. At the current stage of development, I do not see such an opportunity; it is necessary to devote myself to further work that will lead to the progress and long-term development of professional sports in the Primorsky Territory in general and Dynamo sports teams in particular,” Sandler said.
