Singer Anna Sedokova, wife of a former Zenit and Khimki basketball player Janis Timma filed for divorce from the Latvian athlete, follows from the data of the portal of the unified information space of justices of the peace of the city of Moscow.
The spouses’ request for divorce was registered on October 16. A hearing date has not yet been set.
The relationship between Sedokova and Timma became known in the summer of 2019. Their wedding took place on September 6, 2020. There were no children in the marriage.
In the 2013 NBA Draft, Timma was selected in the second round, 60th overall, by the Memphis Grizzlies. In Russia, the 32-year-old Latvian played for Zenit Saint Petersburg, Khimki and UNICS Kazan.
