The head coach of the Lokomotiv beach football club, Ilya Leonov, together with the head coach of the Loko-2010 club, which is part of the Lokomotiv-Kuban basketball club, Vladislav Pavlenko, conducted a master class for children in Stavropol.
The event took place at secondary school No. 20 – this is an educational institution, which at different times famous personalities such as major general, test pilot Alexei Apalkov, Russian painter Sergei Parshin, director and screenwriter Vera Storozheva.
Besides Ilya Leonov, who is also sports director of PFC Lokomotiv, club president Vitaly Pogodin also participated in the event.
From the side of the basketball club, together with Vladislav Pavlenko, the master class was led by the president and head coach of Lokomotiv-Kuban, Andrey Vedishchev, a native of Stavropol. Since 2003, he has regularly led one of the flagships of Russian basketball, and since this season he has also been the head coach of the main team.

For many years, Beach Lokomotiv has actively participated in the development of children’s sports and regularly organizes similar classes with schoolchildren from Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don, Yaroslavl, Baltiysk (Kaliningrad region). Thus, each year, around 800 children participate in such projects each season.
This year, the Stilobat group of companies, headed by Lev Mazaraki, won the “Champion” prize in sports and business from the Roscongress Foundation in the “Perspective” category for the development and popularization of student sports – kickboxing and beach soccer.
