Len set a record among Ukrainians for the most seasons in the NBA

Alexey today started his 12th draw in the Association

Ukrainian center Sacramento Kings Alexey Len set a record achievement.

On the night of October 25, Lane took part in the Kings’ opening match of the 2024/25 National Basketball Association regular championship with the Minnesota Timberwolves (117:119). He spent more than 5 minutes on the court, scoring three points, two rebounds and one blocked shot.

Thus, the current season is officially open for Len – and became his 12th in the NBA, which is a record among Ukrainian players. The previous achievement of 11 seasons belonged to Vitaly Potapenko. Let us note that of the currently performing basketball players, Svyat Mikhailiuk has the most seasons – 7.

Len made 26 appearances in the NBA during the 2022-23 season. The center averaged 1.7 points and 2.3 rebounds. Just over half of the Ukrainian’s field goals were accurate (53.3%).

Alexey also spent the previous season in the Kings camp. The player appeared on the court 50 times, averaging 9.2 minutes per game, scoring 2.4 points, making 2.6 rebounds and averaging one assist per game.

The upcoming season was the fourth in a row for the Ukrainian player as part of his current team. The center received a one-year contract worth $3.3 million from the Kings.

Sacramento finished ninth in the Western Conference in the 2023-24 regular season before losing to New Orleans in the play-in final.

The Kings have a match with the Los Angeles Lakers ahead on the night of October 27.
