The Ukrainian is preparing for the season in the G-League
Ukrainian center Dmitry Skapintsev entered the roster Maine Celtics for preseason training camp.
Previously, Boston expelled the Ukrainian from its roster and transferred it to its farm club. At the same time, Skapintsev took part in several preseason matches: he scored five points in the confrontation with Philadelphia.
Dmitry spent last season in the Knicks structure. The Ukrainian began playing for the Westchester Knicks farm club in the NBA Development League. Skapintsev signed a two-way contract with New York in December 2023, but spent little playing time in the NBA. In the off-season, the center took an active part in Summer League matches.
The Maine Celtics play in the Eastern Conference of the NBA G-League. The new season in the Development League will begin in November.
