The Raptors’ tough season is about to get even tougher.
Toronto Raptors swingman Scottie Barnes suffered a fractured right eye socket in a recent match against Denver (125:127 OT), reports The Athletic.
Because of this, the 23-year-old basketball player will be forced to miss at least three weeks.
Barnes suffered a fractured orbital socket after being elbowed by Denver center Nikola Jokic. The incident occurred 34 seconds before the end of the fourth quarter with the score 112:108 in favor of Toronto.
Scotty fell to the floor holding his face, but the referees did not stop the game, allowing Denver to cut the lead to two points.
The Raptors called a timeout for the player to leave the court and go to the locker room.
