Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero will miss an extended period of time with a torn oblique muscle, The Athletic reports.
The team said the 21-year-old basketball player’s condition will be evaluated in 4-6 weeks.
Banchero was injured in the fourth quarter of a recent game against Chicago (99:102).
This is the play that Paolo Banchero fought, as his greatest opponent — he finished the game. Banchero had a bandage on the right side of his core under his shirt, and on both of his knees in his post-game interview following the loss. Brutal pic.twitter.com/gpe0ZtzsEM

This regular season, Banchero leads Orlando in points (29), assists (5.6) and minutes (36.4) per game.
After the opening five games, the Magic are in third place in the East with a 3-2 win record. The conference leader is Cleveland, who remains the only team in the East without a loss.
