The match ended with a score of 99:55 (51:26, 48:29) in favor of the hosts. Demin had 14 points (6 of 9 field goals), five assists, three rebounds and two steals.
The Russian was recognized as the best player of last week in the Big 12 Conference. At the start of the season, Brigham Young University won three victories in three matches.
Demin graduated from the Moscow Basketball Academy and Real Madrid.
