Athletistic / Basketball. Russian defenseman from Brigham Young University (BYU) of the NCAA American student league Egor Demin was recognized as the newcomer of the week at the BIG12 conference. This was reported by the press service of BYU.
Last week, Demin played two matches in the regular NCAA championship. In the meeting with Central Arkansas, Egor scored a double-double of 18 points and 11 assists, and in the game against the University of California at Riverside, he scored 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

Previously, Egor Demin was included in the list of top ten players to participate in the 2025 NBA draft. At the age of 15, Egor Demin signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid. In 2023, the Russian, playing for the Royal Club youth team, became winner of the Junior Euroleague, the main international competition for under-18 clubs in Europe.
