On Saturday, November 23, in Riga, the Ukrainian men’s basketball team will play a match in the second qualifying window for the 2025 European Championship against Israel.
The Ukrainian team will start their nominal home match at 18.00 at the Arena Riga in Latvia The teams currently occupying the 2nd and 4th place in the standings will compete on the floor.
Two days later, on November 25, in the same arena the teams will play a repeat match, in which the Israeli national team will be the nominal host. This country’s team also cannot host opponents at home.

According to competition regulations, the top three teams in each group, except for groups that include the co-hosts of EuroBasket 2025 (Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia), will advance to the final round. In groups that include host countries, the host and the other two highest-placed teams qualify for the EuroBasket.
