The parties reached a three-month deal with the option to extend for another season.
Ponitka left Zenit in March this year. The Polish basketball player has been playing for the Saint Petersburg club since 2019. During his career at Zenit, Ponitka took part in 71 Euroleague matches and 42 VTB United League matches.
It should be noted that Ponitka will join the team in September, after playing in the Polish national team at EuroBasket, which will be held from September 1 to 18.
