The Boston Celtics will open the regular season last season finalists.
New season-2022/23 in NBA will begin October 18. The association has presented a complete calendar for the 77th edition of the tournament.
Each team will play a minimum of 82 games. The regular season will end on April 9, 2023. The play-in tournament matches are scheduled for April 11, the play-off round starts on April 15. The first game of the 2023 NBA Finals is scheduled for June 1.
Two games are scheduled for the opening day of the competition. The Eastern Conference winner Boston Celtics will open the championship with a duel with the Philadelphia 76ers. In the second game of the day, the defending champion Golden State Warriors will play the Los Angeles Lakers. Before the fight, the Warriors will receive last season’s championship rings.
The Warriors won the last NBA season, beating the Celtics 4-2 in the Finals. Boston defeated Miami in seven games on their way to the final match, Golden State defeated Dallas in five meetings in the Western Conference Finals.
