Olympic silver medalist in 3×3 basketball Kirill Pisklov said the decision to participate in the All-Russian Summer Sports Games among the strongest athletes in 2022 was made in an hour, the team did not being hardly trained together.
On Friday, at the start of the tournament, the team from the Sverdlovsk region, for which Pisklov plays, beat the team from St. Petersburg (9:15 p.m.) and lost to basketball players from Moscow (2:18 p.m.).
– I started playing 3×3 basketball five years ago, I played only in the national team, now we play for the Sverdlovsk region team. The decision to participate in the Spartakiad was made within an hour. We hardly practiced, everything was spontaneous. Let’s play as a group. The main thing is to go further. The first match went well. There are times to work, for that we have a group stage.
I haven’t played on this court for a year. It is a non-slip rubber. I feel the ball well, there are no dimples, everything is perfect. I am grateful to the organizers,” Pisklov said on .
The 3×3 basketball tournament is held at the Pod Most street basketball center in Moscow.
