The group stage of the women’s 3×3 basketball competition as part of the Strongest Spartakiad is over.
In the match of the third round of group A, the St. Petersburg team defeated the Ivanovo region (15:14). This allowed the team to take first place in the quartet unbeaten and qualify directly for the ½ finals of the tournament. The second and third places in the group went to the Samara and Ivanovo regions, respectively, they will play in the quarter-finals.
In group B with three victories, the best was the Moscow team, on Saturday they beat the Moscow region (17:11), this team also reached the semi-finals directly. Teams from Moscow and Sverdlovsk regions qualified for the quarter-finals.
The women’s quarter-finals will take place on August 20, with the semi-finals and the final on Sunday.
