The men’s basketball team of the Republic of Tatarstan was defeated by the team of the Novosibirsk region in the first match of the group stage of the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports among the strongest athletes in 2022.
The Group A match ended with the score of 87:52 (23:8, 20:13, 26:20, 18:11) in favor of the Novosibirsk team. Maxim Voytov became the top scorer among the winners with 19 points.
In the match of group B, the Perm Territory team defeated basketball players from the Sverdlovsk region – 77:65 (32:13, 15:13, 13:19, 17:20).
The Strongest Spartakiad Basketball Tournament runs from August 22-28.
