The Bashkortostan national team beat the Udmurtia team in the quarterfinals of the men’s basketball tournament as part of the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports among the strongest athletes.
The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with the score of 69:60. The most productive player among the winners was Pavel Alexandrov, who has 16 points. Daniil Karvanen also scored 16 points in Udmurtia.
Bashkortostan’s rival in the semifinals will be the Novosibirsk region team, which knocked out the St. Petersburg team from the tournament (88:56).
The Spartakiad semi-final matches are scheduled for August 27.
