The former NBA player is now one of the star commentators in the League and hit KD with a harsh criticism.
Charles Barkley former NBA absolute star, member of Dream Team and League commentator had very painful words to describe Kevin Durant: Mr Miserable. In an interview with ‘Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’ he showed the sharper side of his criticism by describing what he thought of KD.
“He gets angry when we tell him that he took advantage of the Warriors to win his first NBA championship rings (2017 and 2018), but if you look back and analyze his career, as the best player and leader, it’s an abomination . I mean whenever he wasn’t there as the guy who was supposed to be the leader and the best player, he wasn’t successful.” NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley in Kevin Durant in ‘Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’.
Your bad relationship refers to KD’s assignment to the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018 where, in addition, he was chosen Finals MVP. Barkley has maintained that he is not the leader of the team.

“Everyone giving it everything on a silver platter. Durant was the man in Oklahoma City, they loved him, he owned the whole state, then he fired them and went to the Warriors, he won back-to-back championships and he’s still not . Happy. Then he went to Brooklyn, they gave him everything he wanted and he was still miserable,” said sir charles
KD was in the news throughout Free Agency for blatantly requesting to be transferred from the Brooklyn Nets despite having four years left on his contract. After insisting on the departure of Steve Nash (coach) and Sean Marks (manager) announced that he had dropped his combative attitude and his plans to leave, the tension subsided and they have all been confirmed to continue the Joe Tsai franchise.
“He just looks like a miserable person to me. I call Kevin Durant ‘Mr. Miserable’, he will never be happy,” concluded Barkley’s harsh criticism.
