Ukrainian basketball players again lost all advantage in the third quarter
national team Ukraine lost in basketball Iceland in the qualifying match for the 2023 World Cup – 88:91.

Again, as in the previous selection match against Italy, the third quarter was a failure. The hosts went incredible hits, and they took the lead 63:55.
Ukraine at the cost of great efforts managed to catch up with the Icelanders, and the main time ended in a draw 80:80. Unfortunately, in the additional five-minute period, it was not the class of Ukrainians that was decisive, but the desire of the hosts, who eventually won.

After the 2023 World Cup qualifiers, Ukraine switches to the EuroBasket 2022 matches. The first game of the blue-yellows in the tournament is already on September 2.
