The match ended with a score of 89:55 (26:15, 19:11, 22:15, 22:14). The player from the Sverdlovsk region, Maria Vadeeva, was the most productive on the field, with 19 points.
In another quarter-final of the day, the team from the Moscow region defeated the team from the Samara region – 72:57 (14:16, 22:8, 20:17, 16:16).
Earlier on Saturday, teams from Moscow and the Kursk region qualified for the semi-finals.
The semi-final games of the women’s basketball tournament will take place on September 4, the final and the match for bronze on September 5.
