The national team of the Kursk region defeated the team of the Orenburg region in the quarterfinals of the women’s basketball tournament as part of the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports among the strongest athletes in 2022.
The meeting was held on Saturday in Moscow and ended with the score of 76:42 (14:15, 23:8, 19:10, 20:9). Anna Burovaya scored 17 points for the Kursk team, Anastasia Zotkina scored 11 points among the losers.
The semi-final games of the women’s basketball tournament will take place on September 4, the final and the match for bronze on September 5.
