The national teams of Moscow and Sverdlovsk region became the finalists of the women’s basketball tournament within the framework of the All-Russian sports contest of the strongest.
Muscovites defeated the team from the Kursk region in the semifinals with the score of 69:65 (16:20, 16:13, 24:18, 13:14). The most productive player of the match was the capital’s basketball player, Joscelina Maiga, who scored 17 points.
In the other semifinal, the team from the Sverdlovsk region defeated the team from the Moscow region – 74:59 (28:12, 17:15, 12:17, 17:15). Among the winners, Anastasia Shilova and Olairi Kosu scored 14 points each.
The women’s basketball tournament final and bronze medal game will take place on September 5.
