New Serbian Euroleague president Dejan Bodiroga has received an invitation to come to Russia for one of the first games of the upcoming VTB United League season, Sport Day by Day reports.
It should be noted that the invitation to Bodiroge came from one of the VTB League clubs.
On Wednesday, the Euroleague announced that Bodiroga, 49, will lead the organization in place of Spaniard Jordi Bertomeu, who spent 22 years in the role.
The 2022/23 VTB United League season begins on October 2 and ends on January 20, 2023.
