The current contract between the two parties expires in 2024 but negotiations have progressed for an impressive sum of money.
The new contract will exceed one billion dollars. “There wasn’t a complete understanding of what it took to run a business like that properly,” Curry said of the company’s commitment to its signature footwear in the early stages. “So yeah, I was angry.”
