Golden State point guard Steph Curry is ready to stick with the Under Armor brand for life.

Crazy money for a lifetime contract. NBA superstar Steph Curry is about to sign a deal that will receive more than a billion dollars. Forbes is convinced of this.

The truth is, the famous point guard doesn’t want to let go of the sportswear brand Under Armour. The company’s managers poached the basketball player from Nike in 2013, signing him then to a contract worth about $4 million a year.

However, since then, Curry has become a superstar, winning more than one championship, and therefore in 2020 the agreement was changed upwards to 20 million a year. And now, with a 34-year-old athlete, they want to make a deal in life.

The current agreement between the parties expires in 2024, so the company decided not to waste time in vain and make the contract unlimited.

With the help of Steph Curry, Under Armor hopes to take on Nike and his Jordan brand. The company in 2020 has already opened a subsidiary for the manufacture of clothing Curry Brand. The new line includes shoes and apparel for basketball, as well as other sports such as golf, which Steph is very passionate about.

Curry last season in the National Basketball League led his Golden State Warriors to the fourth championship title in the last eight years.
