The head coach of the Ukrainian national basketball team Ainars Bagatskis has decided to complete his work with the national team. This was reported by the Kyiv-Basket fan page.
According to the source, the Latvian specialist and the management of FBU decided not to renew the contract, and the coach himself is already choosing other options for expanding work in Europe.

Recall that Bagatskis led the national team in the last part of EuroBasket, where Ukraine succeeded in the group stage from the second place and stopped at the 1/8 final stage, losing to Poland.
