After his departure from the California franchise in 2021, the German had a brief stint at Boston Celtics beside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. In an interview with the website “BasketNews”, the player explained why he decided to return.
“We had already been trading for three months, so I knew the comeback would occur. But I wanted it to happen in my time.”Schroder pointed out. “Now I can’t wait to play for this team again. LeBron James You’ve already told me that you’re glad I’m back and that’s why I’m looking forward to it. I want to play to win something big, because for me it’s unfinished business.”.
Furthermore, the athlete explained how the circumstances of his last season in lakers did not favor their performance fully. “That year I was in Los Angeles was, to begin with, totally atypical. There were still no fans on a regular basis because of COVID. Several players were also injured.”highlighted.
