NBA Head Coach “Boston Celtics” Ime Udoka could be suspended from his job for a long period for having a sexual relationship with a franchise employee, reports ESPN citing his sources.
Despite the fact that the relationship was consensual, this is considered a violation of the organization’s code. According to the channel, Udoka faces disciplinary action, which will include a suspension, likely for the entire 2022/23 season.
The length of Udoka’s suspension will be determined by the club on Thursday. At the same time, the 45-year-old coach is not threatened with dismissal.
Udoka took charge of the Celtics in the summer of 2021. Last season, the Boston club reached the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Golden State Warriors.
