The ranking was released with the aim of celebrating the association’s 75th anniversary and honoring great athletes who have passed through elite American football.

“I’m used to being snubbed in this league, first of all. It’s been that way since I was in seventh grade, by the way. He was called a stranger and so he sat alone in the school cafeteria. I don’t care, then, about that.”said the point guard of the New York team, in an interview on the podcast “The ETCs”.

“I represent mastery in basketball. I feel like I should be on the top 75 list in history simply because I’m part of the gaming revolution.”. Although he expressed his displeasure, Kyrie did not comment on specific names present in the classification, having even expressed admiration and respect.

“I really admire the talents in this sport that came before me as these guys laid the foundation for the league we play in. They paved the way for us to move forward and then improve on what they left. There’s nothing to argue about it, but I can say that I feel like I deserved to be in the top 75.”he pointed out.

Irving further speculated less remote and proven possibilities for the NBA’s attitude: “I think I was on the original list, but it looks like I’m not now. I guess I’ll leave that to conspiracy theorists to explain, after all. So maybe that view will change in 10 or 20 years. With a few more titles, achievements and the passage of time, I hope to be recognized more.”
