Earlier, the adviser to the Minister of Sports, two-time Olympic biathlon champion Anna Bogaliy, said that according to her information, the ministry is preparing a mobilization reservation system for professional athletes.
– To date, there is no information on the mobilization of basketball players. We monitor daily. So far, so good.
We are waiting for tools from the government. But until state policy is discussed, as it is, so it will be. We will not look for armor for basketball players,” Kushchenko told reporters.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in the country.
