UFC chief confirmed McGregor submitted paperwork to return to USADA pool

Head of the UFC Dana White confirmed that the promotion’s former champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor submitted documents to be returned to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) pool. TSN reporter Aaron Bronsteter reports.

According to White, the 35-year-old Irishman could be included in the USADA pool as early as Monday, October 9. However, the promotion currently has no plans for McGregor’s next fight. CFU will only organize his fight after his official return to the anti-doping agency list.

McGregor fought his last fight in July 2021 in the lightweight category against Dustin Poirier. The Irishman lost by technical knockout, suffering from a broken leg.

In total, he won 22 times and suffered six losses during his career.
