The occupiers killed the entire Sukhenko family.
On Wednesday, March 23, it was learned that Russian occupiers had abducted the Sukhenko family from the village of Motyzhin, Makarov community in the Kiev region.
Olga Sukhenko is a village leader, her husband Igor is a co-founder of the rural football club Kolos, and 25-year-old son Alexander is a football player.
After Motyzhin’s liberation from the occupiers, a mass grave was discovered near the village, where there were the bodies of approximately thirty slain Ukrainian citizens. These include the bodies of the entire Sukhenko family.
Oleksandr was a fairly well -known football player in the Kiev region, and a special chapter in his sporting history was the playing season for second league Chaika (21 games, 3 goals). Today he is a player of FC Kudrovka (Irpin).
Until recently, Alexander, along with his parents, stayed in his own village and helped all in need, delivering food and medicine. The Sukhenko family was abducted from their own home, also aboard a Toyota Avensis car.
Earlier it was reported that a young Ukrainian football player died along with his mother during the evacuation in the Kiev region.
