The Ukrainian Everton defender commented on the goal recorded in the game with Leicester in the Premier League.

I’m happy not with the fact I scored, but with the three points the team recorded, because that’s the most important thing right now. So in an interview with Everton’s press service, Vitaliy Mikolenko commented on England’s championship match with Leicester.

According to the Ukrainian defender, the Liverpool team, he feels more and more confident in the Premier League with every match.

“My goal is not important. It’s the three points scored by the team. The game was very difficult, but we managed and won. That makes me happy. The only thing that matters in the remaining games is to continue to win. It doesn’t matter who we are against , we need three points per game, we will prepare for that result.

When I scored, everyone ran towards me. It makes me happy, because these things give me incredible confidence. It felt so good and I was so happy to celebrate this moment with my teammates. And the fans … Wow. Our fans are brilliant, whether away or at home. It doesn’t matter where we play. I want to thank them a lot, I adore them.

With each game I am more confident. The head coach helps with this, especially in the breaks between games, when we have the opportunity to work on training, ”Mykolenko said.
