The national football team of Ukraine will hold friendly matches in preparation for the selection for the 2022 World Cup in a special uniform. This was announced by UAF President Andrei Pavelko. The front part of the jersey depicts the territory of Ukraine.
The borders of the country are framed by the flags of those countries which help our country in resisting the aggression of the Russian occupiers. In the center of the T-shirt is the inscription “United for Ukraine” (We unite for Ukraine).
In addition, the uniform has the logo of U24, a fundraising platform for the restoration of Ukraine. The numbers behind the players are made from the names of Ukrainian settlements.
“The UAF and the national team support the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky U24 – a fundraising platform united throughout the civilized world for the restoration of Ukraine.
As part of this support, the main Ukrainian team will enter test matches with special T-shirts, which will be made in limited quantities.
The funds collected for these matches and for the sale of T-shirts will be transferred to the United24 program, ”Pavelko said.
