Fans were unhappy with the Ukrainian striker’s performance at Lisbon Benfica.
Roman Yaremchuk was not happy in Portugal. The Ukrainian striker was included in the list of the most disastrous transfers of the season. This is confirmed by the voting results from the authoritative publication A Bola.
The media launched a poll on their source, in which they invited fans to identify the player who came to the championship last summer and who, in their opinion, spent the worst season in Portugal.
So far, Yaremchuk’s move is in third place in the poll, with 15% of respondents voting for him. More than Ukrainian fans were only dissatisfied with his teammates Joao Mario (22.2%) and Ruben Semedo from Porto (19.9%).
As a reminder, Roman Yaremchuk has played 42 against all competitions for Benfica this season, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.
