Tottenham Hotspur top Group D with Eintracht Frankfurt

All teams in the quartet have a chance of reaching the playoffs

Tottenham in the home match of the 4th round of the Champions League won Eintracht – 3:2.

Kamada put the Germans ahead in the 14th minute, but within 16 minutes the Spurs scored three times – two goals from Son and an accurate penalty from Kane.

Note that from the middle of the second half, Eintracht played in the minority – Tuta was removed from the field, in the 60th minute. At the same time, the guests were able to hold one more ball through the efforts of Alido, who came on as a substitute. And in stoppage time, Kane could not get a double without converting another 11-meter.

Tottenham topped Group D with seven points, taking advantage of Sporting’s loss to Marseille. The French are in second place, Sporting third – the teams have six points each. Eintracht closes the quartet with four points.

In the next round, Tottenham Hotspur will host Sporting on October 26. Eintracht Frankfurt will play Marseille at home on the same day.
