Mohamed Salah enters the books: converts fastest hat-trick in Champions history

In the Reds’ 7-1 win over Rangers in Scotland, the Egyptian star scored three goals in six minutes and 12 seconds.

A tremendous victory was won by the liverpool in Scotland. For the fourth day of Group A of the Champions League, the English they defeated Rangers no less than 7-1. And that they left at a disadvantage, with a goal from Scott Arfield, in the 17th minute.

The former Chelsea player scored three goals in six minutes. He appeared at 75′, 80′ and 81′, respectively, to establish a 6-1 lead. The importance of this lies in the fact that Mo Salah converted the hat trick the fastest in the Champions League. He entered the books of the great club competition, scoring a hat-trick in, exactly, six minutes and 12 seconds. The seventh and final goal was scored by Harvey Elliott in the 87th minute.

Jürgen Klopp’s side enter right field towards the round of 16 of the contest. He is second in Group A, with nine points (three wins and one loss). They are behind Napoli, who secured their qualification for the next round after beating Ajax 4-2 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

This result also serves as an incentive for the big challenge of the weekend, at the national level. On Sunday, Liverpool host Manchester City, in the duel that steals all eyes on the Premier League date.
