Athletistic/ Football. Moscow striker “Locomotive” Ivan Ignatiev shared his opinion on the dismissal of head coach Josef Zinnbauer.

“The players had some relief. The tension was gone. We started to add more positive – just with such emotions, we were preparing for the game with Torpedo. My reaction to the changes in the club is: a a certain stage has passed, now the next one begins. We have to take ourselves in hand and prepare for the matches – try to get results,” Ignatiev said.

On October 13, Andrei Fedorov, the former coach of Lokomotiv-Kazanka, was appointed as interim head coach of Lokomotiv. Under the leadership of Fedorov, the “railway workers” on October 15 beat the Moscow “torpedo” with a minimum score. The game’s only goal in the 48th minute was scored by Loko midfielder Artyom Karpukas.

After 13 rounds played, Lokomotiv is in 12th row of the RPL standings with 12 points.
