The Ukrainian spent the second “cracker” for Real this season
Real in the away match of the 10th round of La Liga defeated Elche – 3:0.
Fede Valverde scored in the first half. New 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema and substitute Marco Asensio scored after the break.
Note that Real Madrid scored three more goals during the meeting. However, the VAR system canceled two goals from Benzema and one from David Alaba.
Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin appeared at the start of Blancos and played the entire match. In total, the keeper played in six matches for Real this season – in two of them, Lunin managed to keep the gate “dry”.
Real Madrid leads La Liga with 28 points. Elche was never able to get at least one victory in 10 rounds, so it closes the standings.
In the next round, the Madrid club will host Sevilla on October 22. Elche will play Espanyol away a day later.
