Vishniac: An early goal influenced the game. To date, losing to Shakhtar is not a shame

Kolos suffered the second defeat of the season

Kolos head coach Yaroslav Vishnyak commented on the defeat of the team in the match of the 8th round of the UPL with miner.

“It’s a great luxury to concede goals like we conceded in the first half when you play against Shakhtar. Having conceded, it is already difficult to play your game, because Shakhtar counterattacks well, everyone knows what kind of players there are and how they work with the ball. I believe this bug had a big impact. It is difficult to retell the game further, and in the second half, only the Shakhtar team was on the football field. If in the first half we were still holding out and there were attempts to make retaliatory attacks, then in the second half Shakhtar dominated and deservedly won, for which I congratulate him.”

“We planned to play fast attacks. It was necessary to deprive Shakhtar of space, free zones, which they used perfectly in the second half. Again, the game was affected by an early goal. In the second and third goals scored, the opposing players demonstrated individual actions: Mudryk figured it out, then they played well, and they could score a few more times in the second half. The opponents played well today, but we brought the first goal to ourselves and put ourselves in a difficult position.”

“Today, losing to Shakhtar is not a shame, so it makes no sense to sprinkle ashes on your head. We need to sort out the mistakes and prepare for the next championship matches. Three points are up for grabs in each match and must be fought for in every match. I think we will prepare in a good mood.”

Kolos lost to Shakhtar in the match of the 8th round of the UPL – 0:3. The team from Kovalevka is in seventh position.

In the next round, Kolos will host Chernomorets on October 24.
