Arteta: Zinchenko will return before the start of the World Cup

World Cup 2022 starts on November 20

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta announced possible terms for the return of the Ukrainian defender to the field Alexandra Zinchenko.

“Does Zinchenko’s injury worry me? No I do not think so. He had a calf injury and was therefore absent during this period. Will he be back before the start of the World Cup? Yes”.

Recall that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar starts on November 20

The 25-year-old Ukrainian missed the last four matches of the Gunners due to injury – in the Europa League twice with Boude-Glimt (3:0 and 1:0) and Liverpool (3:2) and Leeds (1:0) in the Premier League.

This season, Zinchenko has six games in all tournaments for the Gunners, in which Alexander scored one assist.

Today, October 20, Arsenal will play with PSV in the postponed match of the second round of the Europa League. The duel was supposed to take place on September 15, but was postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Arsenal top Group A in the Europa League with nine points from three matches.
