The Ukrainian duo lost to the second seeded Challenger in Vilnius
Ukrainian tennis players Ilya Marchenko and Denis Molchanov lost in the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger series tournament in Vilnius.
The Ukrainian duet lost in two sets to the second seeds of the tournament Roman Arneodo and Sam Weissborn. The fight lasted a little over an hour. During this time, Marchenko and Molchanov lost three of their games, missing the only break point they earned.
In the first round, the Ukrainians beat the duet of Patrick Salminen and Bart Stevens. Marchenko also took part in singles, losing in the second round to Norwegian Viktor Durasovich.
For Ilya and Denis, this was the first joint tournament since 2016, when they scored one victory at the ATP 250 tournament in Antwerp.
